Acupressure mats are the modern interpretation of the Indian bed of nails. They're made up of thousands of sharp spikes that press against your skin to release inner tension and activate your body's healing systems. They press firmly against your skin to release tension, whereas acupuncture needles penetrate the skin to achieve a similar effect. Acupuncture also requires a trained practitioner to insert the needles, but you can practice acupressure by yourself from the comfort of your home.

The key difference between Pillows are shape and end-use:• Classic acupressure pillows are made with a single piece of standard foam. This makes them suited for relieving neck tension only.
