    Definitely worth it!!

Fabulous mat once you get past the initial ouch. It makes such a difference especially after a hard day in the garden. Highly recommended to all. AAA+++

    I found BLISS!

I started with the first mat then to this one, I did not feel any pain with this one. More pressure but not pain!

    Love it!

Love my Shakti mat. After the initial sharp feeling (which doesn't hurt but does require some deep, steady breathing), a couple of minutes in and it starts to feel really relaxing. Sometimes I raise my feet onto a block to shift more weight onto my back for a deeper Shakti. I usually use it for 10-15 mins and always sleep so well after using it.

    Pleasure or Pain

So far, it just feels painful. I think I went a bit too extreme with my first mat. It starts to hurt, then it gets hot, and eventually it becomes too much. When I wear a thin shirt, I can use it for about 30 minutes at a time, but without one, I struggle to last even 30 seconds. I will persist!

    Satisfyingly spiky

I don't know about the science behind this, but I do find that focusing my mind on trying to relax into the spikes for 20 minutes is medative in its own way. It's like getting small, stabby bits of feedback when you're tensing on one side.

Yes - it hurts a bit, but in a good way like when someone scratches your back with long nails
