    My second Shakti Mat

I purchased this second mat to enable my Tai Chi class to 'try before they buy'!!

Having owned my own mat for some time now and knowing the benefits it brings me, I wanted to share the experience. The mat is spending a week with each class member and I am confident that some will want their own. For me I use mine to primarily relax the tension in my upper back and neck. I love it!!!!

    Perfect Level of Pain

The Classic Acupressure Mat has exceeded my expectations. Lying it down on the floor or the bed provides a wonderful, prickly relief on my back, shoulders, and arms. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about it.

Fell asleep on a bed of nails

It takes a moment… well about 8 minutes of hyper-awareness of pretty intense discomfort & intentional breathing, where you’re forced into the present to try to push through to the other side of the pain, BUT if you get over that first bump, a welcoming warmth spreads over your body & you start to relax & fall heavy onto the spikes, releasing tension. I’ve been lying for about 20 minutes each night to then roll heavy & relaxed into bed, & to my great surprise, last night I actually fell asleep on the mat, waking up 40 minutes later!

    Love it!

I love my mat and pillow set. I’ve used it every night since I got it. Wish I’d bought it years ago!
