When you place it under your head, neck and shoulders, it disperses pressure avoiding any pinch points. Your shoulders and neck experience a deep release that transitions up toward the top of your skull.

Will it hurt? Yes. But only for a little in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. If those spikes aren’t sharp enough – or you’re beyond relaxed already – you won’t feel much.

Excellent for pain relief
I let my husband use it who woke up with neck pain and after about 10 mins into using it his neck was better. He is a believer now that it works. Helps me relax too. I started with the level two and it’s doable

Helps keep me still
Like the mat, this has helped to keep me still. It gets some pressure on my neck and shoulders which I really like. I use this with the mat every evening.

Amazing
I'm so glad I'm the proud owner of a Shakti Pillow and Mat....wish I had of purchased them earlier!
