When you place it under your head, neck and shoulders, it disperses pressure avoiding any pinch points. Your shoulders and neck experience a deep release that transitions up toward the top of your skull.

Will it hurt? Yes. But only for a little in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. Loving this product in a way I was not expecting!
I am so happy with this purchase. The pillow is a perfect accent and I wouldn’t want to go without it. I’ve had a headache and I can just pop this pillow under my neck for extra support and healing. This was an excellent purchase decision. I’m telling everyone I know!

Good Experience
I purchased both the mat and pillow and use them daily for 10 minutes. It takes a few sessions to get used to but I am enjoying the experience and sense of peace. I have fallen asleep during my last two sessions.
